Welcome back! Summer vacations have us a little off schedule, but we are thrilled to (belatedly) announce Gillian Flynns Gone Girl as our Living blog book of the month.
After three of our editors came back from their vacations excited about Flynns summer release, we knew it had to be next on our list.
Heres how the publisher describes it: On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunnes fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nicks clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River.
